The Week of Suck Begins (or How Jessy Learned How to Stop Being a Moron and Pay Attention to Due Dates)

So. This next week. It's gonna suck.

But first a recap.

I had a very relaxing weekend. I played Skate with Paul for many hours on Friday night/really bloody early Saturday morning. I spent my Saturday sleeping, playing Samurai Warriors 2 and reading one of the books from the Belgariad (which I read in 9th grade in about two weeks). Sunday was the same, but with going to see Juno and watching some of the Academy Awards thrown in. Juno was awesome. The Academy Awards were boring.

At some point Sunday night I realized that I have a midterm on Tuesday (so... In about 14 hours or so, from now). So I studied for a few hours after work today. I then decided to check when my term paper for World Literature was due. Good thing I did, because it's due in a week. To top it off I have to have a certain amount of my communications term paper finished the day after for a peer review. Huz(somebody kill me now)zah! On top of that I realized that I have to get halfway through the White Castle by Friday. This wouldn't be so bad without the knowledge that all weekend I've gone through a book and a half of the Belgariad when I could have finished the damn thing. Also, I need to watch and take notes on the Double Life of Veronique by Friday (same class as the novel readings due for, go figure). Because of all this, specifically the paper (did I mention it has to be about 1500 words) and the thing for peer review I have to back out of the Port Moody Quick Flik Challenge. This sucks because I thought I would be able to do it the whole weekend and it means I'm missing both of the big contests this year (missing out on Whistler due to final exams, bleh.)

So let's recap

Tuesday 2:30: History and Ascetics of Cinema II, Midterm Exam
Friday 11:30: Finish reading half of the White Castle and watch the Double Life of Veronique
Monday 5:00 : Finish World Literature Term Paper
Tuesday 11:30: Have Peer Review semi-paper written and ready

The Rest of the Time: Going to (or not going to) class, at least 12 hours driving, work and actually doing all these bloody things.

The only things that give me comfort: I get to watch Jaws in my class tomorrow after we finish the midterm. The White Castle seems interesting and, above all, really short. The World Literature paper seems interesting. I don't really give a flying fuck if I get a good grade or not in my communications class.

Right, so the final thing I have to say is this.
I am an moron.

wow - crazy amounts of work! Though Skate was awesome! It's actually a fun game that I keep wanting to go back to! Urg... it's slowing my work, but I refuse to get bogged down!
